Cuba Libre: Sending the message of liberty by banging my Conga drums!

Mission

    For over five decades, America has been a graceful host of the Cuban-exile community protecting us from the cruel Castro regime.  Of the approximately three million Cubans who have sought exile around the world, nearly 80% or 2.5 Million people were granted refugee status by the United States.  Nevertheless, to date, many of our English-language-speaking hosts do not receive sufficient and reliable information in English from the Cuban-American community on the atrocities being perpetrated by Castro’s regime in our former homeland.

    In spite of the United States proximity to the island, Americans receive more English-language news and information about issues in Asian and middle-eastern countries than on Cuba.  In short, I believe that a language barrier has been inadvertently built between the Cuban-American community’s Spanish-language news and information sources and the English-language audiences.  But one may ask, why is it important for our hosts to be informed of Cuba’s struggles for liberty?  The moment could not be more critical or appropriate to answer that question as big government philosophies and socialist agendas, followed by oppressive regimes, are expanding around the world at a pace unlike anything that I have seen for several decades. Yet our future looks brighter than ever, as America has been awaken to the rattle of the enemies of decency and freedom and are now tirelessly working to restore and preserve liberty in America.  Once we have cleaned our homeland of these oppressors, I believe that the same patriots would have been equipped and will be willing to help the Cuban exile community's strongest allies in defeating Castro’s regime and restoring justice and true democracy to the island nation.

    My mission, via CubanCongaMan.com, will be to provide information in the English-language such that not only we will be better informed on Cuban matters, but so that we can be empowered to make a difference for any nation we wish to help with democratization process.  To that end, I make an oath to do the following acts of freedom:

Ø Promote Judeo-Christian principles and conservative values around the world;

Ø Work tirelessly with you to inform the world about Cuba or any other country where freedom is being threatened and/or non-existent;

Ø Provide links to articles and reliable sources of information on Liberty and Tyranny issues;

Ø Develop my own blog articles [at blog.CubanCongaMan.com ] and respectfully solicit your ideas, comments, and opinions; and

Ø Use my acquired Civil Engineering skills to promote the reconstruction of Cuba’s infrastructure under a duly-established democratic government [See reconstructing Cuba link above]; and

Ø Last, but not least, to bang my conga drum and help you, if needed, to learn to bang your drum such that the world can hear us together at events sending a message of liberty and small government for all.

 I affirm the importance of working together to find solutions.  If interested in future mailing on Drum-Circle-4-Liberty Rallies, please don’t forget to fill out the information on the Contact Page link above. For daily updates and messages, please follow me on:  Twitter.com/cubancongaman
